Le nombre de relances est limité pour chaque tour d’enchère. La norme étant généralement de limiter à trois ou quatre relances après la première mise.
La b/ind est généralement égale à la moitié de la mise minimale et la surblind à la mise minimale.

Spread limit games
Ce type de partie est moins connu. La structure d’enchères est la même qu’en limit, à l’exception de cette possibilité de miser entre la valeur minimale et la valeur maximale des enchères prédéfinies.

Dans une partie en spread limit 20 € à 40 € pour les deux premiers tours et 20 à 80 € pour les deux derniers tours, il est possible de miser 25 € ou 37 € aux deux premiers tours d’enchères et 43 € ou 78 € pour les deux derniers tours.

Pot limit games
En pot limit, la structure des enchères est la même qu’en limit, à l’exception de la mise maximale dont la hauteur est égale à la valeur du pot actuel.

Dans une partie en pot limit 10 €/20 €, la mise minimale est de 10 € pour les deux premiers tours d’enchères et de 20 € pour les deux derniers tours d’enchères. La mise maximale est fixée à hauteur du pot actuel. Imaginons qu’au deuxième tour d’enchères, le joueur 2 ouvre en misant 10 €, le joueur 3 aura la possibilité d’enchérir jusqu’à 89 €, si la valeur du pot est de 89 €.

No limit games
En no Iimit, la structure des enchères est la même qu’en limit. La seule diffé¬rence est qu’il n’y a pas d’enchère maximale. Chaque joueur a donc la possibi¬lité de miser jusqu’à la hauteur de son tapis.

Dans une partie en no limit 40 €/80 €, l’enchère minimale est de 40 € pour les deux premiers tours et de 80 € pour les deux derniers. À tout moment, un joueur a la possibilité de miser entre la mise minimale prédéfinie et celle de son propre tapis.

Quand un joueur mise tout son tapis, on dit qu’il est ail in. Si un autre joueur décide de le suivre mais que son tapis est inférieur, un pot annexe – le side pot- sera créé.

Le joueur 1 possède 500 €.
Le joueur 2 possède 200 €.
Le joueur 1 mise la totalité de son tapis, soit 500 €. Le joueur 2 décide de le suivre et avance la totalité de son tapis, soit 200 €. Dans ces circonstances, le joueur 2 ne peut pas prétendre gagner les 500 € de son adversaire, mais seulement les 200 € qu’il aura mis dans le pot.

Deux pots apparaissent alors :
– Un main pot: Pot principal où sont disputés 400 euros (200 € de chaque joueur).
– Un side pot: Pot annexe comportant 300 € (mise du joueur 1 que le joueur 2 ne peut prétendre).
Le joueur dont la main sera la meilleure au showdown emportera 400 €. Le joueur 1 récupèrera ses 300 € quoi qu’il arrive.

Prenons quatre joueurs:
Sébastien : 500 €
Thomas: 300 €
Olivier: 200 €
Julie: 100 €

Olivier est ail in avec 200 €. Il est suivi par tous les autres joueurs.
– Main pot: 100 € + 100 € + 100 € + 100 € = 400 €.
Le facteur limitant est le tapis de Julie (100 €).
Tout le monde se dispute le main pot.
– Side pot 1 : 100 € + 100 € + 100 € = 300 €.
Le facteur limitant est le total restant d’Olivier après le main pot (200 € -100 € = 100 €).
Olivier, Sébastien et Thomas se disputent le side pot 1. Julie ne peut y prétendre.
– Side pot 2 : 100 € + 100 € = 200 €.
Le facteur limitant est le tapis de Thomas après avoir payé le main pot et le si de pot 1 (300 € -100 € -100 € = 100 €).
Seuls Thomas et Sébastien se disputent le side pot 2.
Le showdown révèlera le vainqueur à hauteur de ce qu’il a misé dans le pot:
Si Julie l’emporte, elle empoche 400 €. Les autres Joueurs recuperent respectivement leur argent des side pots.
– Si Olivier l’emporte, il empoche 700 € : main pot et slde pot 1.
– Si Thomas ou Sébastien l’emporte, il empoche 900 € : tous les pots.
